Crazy Days

Wow, the last couple weeks have been crazy! It seemed like if something could go wrong, it did. As I am sure most of you are aware the website suffered some major problems. We had a server go down and subsequently many of most important links were messed up, not to mention the site ran at a snails pace. (Sorry! I think I have just about everything fixed now) To make things even worse my little one had a terrible ear infection and one of the site's major sources of funding dropped by nearly half. Then to top that all off  my husband lost his job on my Birthday. : ( So sad, I know. I was a little discouraged to say the least.

Since then we spent four days up in Island Park and West Yellowstone vacationing and I feel much better. It wasn't the kind of vacation were you get a lot of rest, but some how I still feel re-energized and ready to get back to business. We spent a day hiking, a day at the beach, a day exploring Yellowstone and a day helping with a remolding project at my Grandpa's cabin. It was so much fun and so good to get away from the reality!

Now, back in the real world, I have a lot to get done. I have most the major site problems fixed, but am still working towards changing everything over to a new, faster dedicated server. : ) That will mean much, much faster page loads and downloads! I am also going to go through and re-organize and design the site so that it is easier to use and navigate. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. My husband will be going back to school in the fall so I have to make sure everything is ready for him. We are both very excited. And of course, I have a lot of digital scrapbooking and designing to do. I will post the pages from our trip as soon as I get them done.

Thanks for listening!
